As early as you can. Booking secures your place in our diary, and we’ll then agree timescales with you. We email your first draft within a week of your research call, and because edits are unlimited, there’s plenty of time to perfect it before the day.
We generally encourage clients to book in their research call with us two to three months before the wedding. That gives us plenty of time to perfect it, and crucially, lots of time for you to rehearse.
Of course, sometimes that isn’t possible. We can deliver bespoke speeches quicker but if it’s within the week of the wedding our Urgent Service (£545) is what you’ll need to book. Call or WhatsApp us prior to purchasing to ensure we can accommodate the Urgent Service.
Long enough to land the laughs and the emotion, short enough that nobody checks their watch. We’ll work to whatever you (or the wedding planner) want but our sweet spot for a wedding speech is 900–1,300 words – which is about seven minutes and comfortably under ten minutes including laughter.
Some clients do request a three-minute speech but usually realise more is needed to make an impact and say everything they want.
