Who We Are

Heidi Ellert-McDermott founded Speechy after giving her own bride speech and loving it. In 2015 she recruited some fellow TV scriptwriters who she knew had a passion for creating innovative work and Speechy was born.

The team are all story-tellers by heart and work closely with clients to help them realise their story-potential.

Due to our modern approach, our wedding speech advice has not only featured in the wedding press but national media too – from The New York Times, The Observer to The Metro, Radio 1 to Radio 2, Grazia, The Times, Huff Post to The Daily Mail.

We’re definitely on the ‘creative’ spectrum, but we’re conscientious, quality-driven, and we think you’ll rather love working with us.
